Rising star Theresa Arns focuses on natural, high quality materials, designing functional furniture with a sense of poetry. Born in Germany, Theresa Arns graduated in 2013 from The Royal Danish Academy of Arts. As a student in Copenhagen she fell in love with the city and the Danish tradition in furniture design. Her plan was to go to Berlin after her studies, but found Copenhagen very inspiring and therefore stayed on. Swiftly establishing a reputation as a design talent to watch, Theresa makes practical furniture, to be used every day, with soul. Her design is very pragmatic in a ‘German’ way but she also believes that it is important for the objects that we surround ourselves to have warmth and poetry.
