Anne Boysen takes a practical approach to her profession as she plays with the combination of form and material and the search for new thinking. She is fascinated by details and good craftsmanship, and she loves to challenge new techniques. She has been trained in art, architecture and design, most recently as an architect at the Aarhus School of Architecture. The combination of art and design is the driving force in her work, which includes furniture and interior design, painting and sculpture.
In 2011, she won the Erik Jørgensen Design Award with her "Senecio" daybed. This has led to the making of the "Toward" couch which is widely credited. It is currently nominated for BO BEDRE Design Award 2014 as the year of furniture. She designed Arch:You and Watch:Out for applicata
